1st attempt at taping

I had been concentrating on trying to get decent at stamping but wanted to try something different.  I have been seeing all of these cool techniques on FB and blogs, however I wanted something that didn't seem too difficult since I am new at all of this. I have tape, so I figured, let's try that! LOL!!

Zoya Toni for base color... Picture didn't do it justice... It is a deep eggplant color... Looks more purple in natural light...Taped off in a diagonal and then painted on Pure Ice Beehave.  Finished with a top coat of HK Girl.

I loved how the taping came out!  Much easier than I thought it would be.  I can't wait to try it with different colors and angles.
